Direct answers on how EngMind compares to existing tools, how data is handled, how pricing works, and what investors typically ask.
Bluebeam and PDF tools are excellent at markup, navigation, and collaboration on PDFs. EngMind is not a PDF tool. It is an AI engineering reviewer: it reasons over the engineering content of the drawing against Design Codes and Project Specifications, returns evidence-backed findings, and keeps engineers in the loop on every finding.
Bluebeam and EngMind can coexist on the same project. EngMind generates the engineering review; Bluebeam handles the markup workflow.
AutoCAD and CAD platforms generate drawings; they do not perform engineering review against codes and specs. Generic LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.) can read PDFs but lack discipline depth, source governance, and audit trails required for industrial drawing review.
EngMind is purpose-built for that gap: discipline-deep, code-anchored, evidence-backed, with a complete audit trail.
V1 Beta runs on EngMind-managed cloud infrastructure with tenant-scoped isolation, audit trails, and explicit deletion controls. On-prem and customer-controlled deployment options are tracked on the roadmap and discussed case-by-case with design partners.
Each drawing revision is tracked individually. EngMind detects revision metadata (drawing number, revision letter or number, revision date) from the title block, and analyses can be scoped to a specific revision or to the latest issued revision.
V1 Beta supports PDF as the primary input format. Native CAD formats (DWG, DGN), 3D model exchange formats (IFC), and image formats are tracked on the roadmap.
Analysis time depends on drawing size, density, and the modules engaged. A typical single-page P&ID review with full piping module coverage completes within minutes. Multi-page packages are handled in parallel and scale near-linearly with platform capacity.
No. EngMind is built to support senior engineers, not replace them. Every finding the platform produces is reviewed, approved, dismissed, or escalated by a human engineer before it leaves the platform. EngMind takes the volume; engineers retain the judgment.
No. No customer drawing or finding is used to train any AI model. Ever. The platform calls AI providers under controlled, scoped contexts only.
V1 Beta supports EngMind-managed Google Cloud Platform storage by default, plus connectors to customer Google Drive and Microsoft SharePoint/OneDrive. Future enterprise storage options (Azure Blob, customer GCS, AWS S3, Box, Dropbox) are tracked on the roadmap.

Yes. EngMind provides per-job and per-account download and deletion, with confirmation. Account closure purges all customer data within 24 hours.
V1 Beta: EngMind-managed GCP storage, Google Drive, and Microsoft SharePoint/OneDrive. Identity: Firebase Auth + Google Identity Platform with founder-approved tenant allowlist.
SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR, and LGPD are part of the security roadmap. Status will be communicated according to verified implementation, not aspiration. We will not market a certification we do not hold.
Not as a public free tier. Founding-design partners do receive scoped evaluation access under NDA — reach out if your organization fits the design-partner profile.
Pricing is scoped per project envelope, per module mix, and per analysis volume. There is no fixed seat list. Tell us which modules and capabilities are in scope, and we respond with a tailored proposal within two business days.
Each engineering module and cross-functional module is priced individually. You scope EngMind to the modules your project actually needs — you don’t pay for modules you do not engage.
Yes. Per-project scoping is the default for capital projects. Pricing is built around how the project is scoped, funded, and executed — not around annual seat commits before value is proven.
Pre-seed. Round size, terms, and milestones are available under NDA. Investor materials are sent on request to info@engmind.ai.
Institutional and strategic investors with relevant industry, AI infrastructure, or industrial software experience. We particularly welcome partners with networks inside Tier 1 owner-operators and EPC firms.
Pilot partners inside Tier 1 operators and EPC firms. We trade design-partner economics for product co-development with engineering departments. Reach out if your team fits the profile.
V1 Beta is available for evaluation under NDA. Production deployment timeline available on request.
